Position Requirements:   

1.      Committed to work, positive attitude, driven and ethical.

2.      BS Degree or equivalent in Optics or optics related field.

3.      Familiarity with spectrophotometer strongly preferred.

4.      Detail oriented.

5.      Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English.

6.      Hands on experience with light measurement and optical metrology.

7.      Ability to complete projects.

8.      Programming with experience in VB and .NET

9.      We are a lean, computerized company.  Must be comfortable with computers and software.

10.   We perform credit and background checks before making final decision.

Duties

1.      Design optical systems using Zemax for analytical instruments, microscopes, microspectrophotometers and related components.

2.      Build prototypes and troubleshoot them

3.      Translate R&D project to production ready systems.

4.      Ability to assist production and Quality Control.
